Description: This is the basic salute in Kung Fu with a Nunchaku.

Description: These are two basic guards: the first one is a passive guard and the second is an offensive guard. The second one is an excellent position during a fight, it makes possible to move easily and to do a large variety of attacks.

Required skills: This is a basic move, you do not need to know any other move to learn this one.
Description: These are three moves to stop and block the Nunchaku with only one hand. These stops are particularly useful in double Nunchaku.

Description : This is a stop which was often used by the Shaolin monks and by Kung Fu practitioners: first, you have to amortize one of the branches in the air, and then you have to make a small but powerful backward movement to catch it up.

Required skills: Wristroll.
Description: This is a stop finishing with a reversed grip.

Hand stop
Description: This is a stop in which we have to abruptly change the direction of the Nunchaku by pushing it with the free hand.

Forward stop
Description: This is a stop often used by Bruce Lee. The principal difficulty in this movement is to catch up the free branch correctly.
