Basic strike
Basic strike
Difficulty:
Required skills: Basic guards.
Description: This classic attack is shown with the offensive guard first, and then in the passive guard. The important thing in this attack, as in much of others, is to strike on the level of the opponent’s head. By inclining yourself on the side, you can change the striking height and keep a straight trajectory.

Front strike
Front strike
Difficulty:
Required skills: This is a basic move, you do not need to know any other move to learn this one.
Description: This attack, from top to bottom, is very powerful. However, it is necessary to correctly amortize the Nunchaku at the end of the move, to not wound yourself and to be able to enchain another move.

Inner double rotation strike
Inner double rotation strike
Difficulty:
Required skills: This is a basic move, you do not need to know any other move to learn this one.
Description: Simple move during which a basic rotation is made to add some power to the final strike. The Nunchaku must touch its target during the second rotation, because this is there that it is supposed to have the most power in this attack.

Revert strike
Revert strike
Difficulty:
Required skills: This is a basic move, you do not need to know any other move to learn this one.
Description: This attack is one of most powerful we can make without moving: it uses the rotation of the body to gain force and speed. The important thing here is that the body must squire the Nunchaku, and not the contrary. The movement is first shown with a great power, then with a more reduced dash starting from the passive guard.

Lower strike
Lower strike
Difficulty:
Required skills: Basic rebounds and armpit guard.
Description: This is a relatively powerful strike going upwards. This is very easy to enchain another strike after this one and it has the advantage of striking in unexpected angles. The principal difficulty in this movement is to correctly control the movement of you arm while giving the initial dash to the Nunchaku.

Outer diagonal strike
Outer diagonal strike
Difficulty:
Required skills: This is a basic move, you do not need to know any other move to learn this one.
Description: This is a very powerful upward strike, from the “inner” of the body to the “outer”. The principal difficulty in this strike is to aim correctly.

Figure eight strike
Figure eight strike
Difficulty:
Required skills: Horizontal figure eight normal and advanced.
Description: This is a simple strike during which a horizontal figure eight is performed to add momentum. It is possible to add one or two more rotations before passing the Nunchaku at the top of the head for even more momentum.

Inner diagonal strike
Inner diagonal strike
Difficulty:
Required skills: This is a basic move, you do not need to know any other move to learn this one.
Description: This is an upward strike, from the “outer” of the body to the “inner”. The most difficult here is to correctly give power to the Nunchaku.

Fast face strike
Fast face strike
Difficulty:
Required skills: Basic rebounds and armpit guard.
Description: This is a fast and powerful strike, but very hard to control perfectly. In this attack all is done in the first moves: the chain must “be placed” between the armpit and the shoulder, and that will be used to give power correctly.
